  • How to Effectively Use Leverage to Build a Successful Coaching Business

    Nov 23, 2022

With everything that's happening in our lives: work, responsibilities, and family, we tend to hold back from pursuing our dreams and keep making excuses that probably won't change no matter the circumstances are. “Now is not the right time”…
    “I’m not ready yet”…
"I don't have enough time to focus on building a business right now”…

“Maybe someday when I get the chance”… I knew this, but it was still hard to act on it because nobody growing up taught us about leverage. Growing up in the hood, that just wasn't the topic of discussion amongst my family or friends. So when you're feeling like time is an issue, get leverage because coaching businesses can be built successfully with the help of technology and by outsourcing simple tasks.

    • Outsource What You're Not Good At:
I'm not good at social media, so I outsource that. I'm not good at design work, so I outsource that too. You should definitely outsource what you're not good at because it's a waste of your time to try and learn everything and be good at everything. Instead, focus on your strengths and use your time to generate revenue in your coaching business.
    • Leverage Technology:
Technology has come a long way and there are so many tools available now that can help you automate simple tasks in your coaching business. For example, there are CRM software programs that can help you keep track of your clients, social media management tools that can help you save time by scheduling posts in advance, and email marketing tools that can automate your marketing tasks.
    • Focus on Quality over Quantity:
In order to build a successful coaching business, you need to focus on quality over quantity. This means that you should focus on providing value and helping your clients achieve their goals instead of trying to sell them on things they don't need. When you provide value, your clients will be more likely to refer you to their friends and family members which will help you grow your business.

If you want to build a successful coaching business, you need to focus on using leverage to improve your efficiency. Outsource what you're not good at, leverage technology to automate simple tasks in your business, and focus on quality over quantity. By doing these things, you'll be well on your way to building a successful coaching business that provides value to its clients.
